Standalone Destination Restaurant
When Mercure Hotels purchased the Eastgate Hotel in Oxford, Blacksheep was commissioned to transform and remodel the entire ground floor, as well as naming and creating all the branding and graphics work for the new hotel restaurant, The High Table. The restaurant takes its name from the high tables of the Oxford colleges which surround it and was developed with an elegant monochrome marque, referencing a table and chairs in profile. The full graphics scope for the new restaurant, which aims to attract local passing trade as well as hotel guests, encompassed all external and internal signage, menus, matchboxes and business cards, as well as other stationary and marketing collateral.
