Local & Historical Inspiration

Gordon Ramsay's first ever foray into the pub dining market, The Narrow, is a Grade II-listed building, located in the Limehouse area of East London. Blacksheep sought to retain the building's historic qualities for the project and to relate the design to locality and history of the Limehouse area.  Blacksheep both created the project’s branding and also applied it to a series of menus and other printed collateral, which feature historical black and white photography from the area’s industrial and commercial past, including retail and docks activities.
